Jobline is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead major groundworks projects across the South West. You will oversee multiple live contracts, support Site and Project Managers, and drive on-time, profitable delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong commercial and programme management, stakeholder leadership, and willingness to travel across the region. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Groundworks background.
• Several years' experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale groundworks, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Experience managing multiple sites and project teams simultaneously.
• Strong commercial, operational and programme management skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee several live groundworks and civil engineering projects across the South West.
• Support Site Managers and Project Managers regionally.
• Monitor programme performance and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Maintain strong client relationships and service delivery standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide leadership to operational teams.
