Job summary

Keyman is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead a groundworks package from start to finish on a live project. You will supervise a team, plan materials and personnel, and ensure safety, budget, and quality compliance on site.

The role requires a valid CSCS card and SMSTS, strong leadership, and the ability to read technical drawings. A proactive mindset and track record of delivering on time are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of groundworks teams on site projects.
• CSCS card and SMSTS essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proactive, safety-focused with on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a groundworking team, including hiring and training.
• Plan and coordinate groundworks projects, including materials, equipment and personnel.
• Ensure safe work delivery within budget and high standards.
• Coordinate with clients and other contractors to meet specs and timelines.
• Ensure on-site health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and PPE.
• Maintain timesheets, daily logs and reports.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with project managers on progress.
• Ensure plant and equipment are maintained and serviced regularly.
• Identify and report risks to project managers and clients.
