Job summary

ITS Building people is seeking Groundworker Labourers for a growing groundworks team. Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, you will assist with trenches, foundations and drainage, move materials, and support paving and other groundworks tasks. Own transport is essential.

Contract is Monday to Friday with potential overtime; there may be opportunities for additional training and progression to a full-time contract for the right candidates. CSCS card and prior groundworks experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card and prior groundworks/labouring experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour.
• Own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist groundworkers with digging trenches, foundations and drainage works.
• Move and handle building materials, tools and equipment around site.
• Support with laying pipes, kerbs, paving and other groundworks tasks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• General Labour tasks as required.

Job description :

Groundworker Labourers required for a growing groundworks. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Groundworker Labourers to assist our client with a project based in Sevenoaks, Kent. Own transport is essential.

This contract is Monday to Friday and there may be the option to do overtime.

Additional training and a full time contract may be provided for the right candidates.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Assist groundworkers with digging trenches, foundations and drainage works.
• Move and handle building materials, tools and equipment around site
• Support with laying pipes, kerbs, paving & other groundworks tasks
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• General Labour

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS card is desirable
• References upon request
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
• Own tools are required
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

• Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
