Job summary

Clements Young is hiring a Groundworks Labourer for a busy construction site in Hindhead, Surrey. You will support groundworkers, assist with manual excavation, trenching and material handling, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

We expect reliable, punctual workers with a CSCS card, good teamwork, and the physical ability to perform manual tasks on site from 7:30am to 4pm, with an £17.50 per hour rate (£140 per day) on offer.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required and essential to access site.

Groundworks Labourer

About the Role

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundworks Labourer to join our team on a busy construction site. The successful candidate will assist groundworkers with a variety of tasks, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Assisting with drainage, kerbing, paving, and concreting works.

Requirements

• Previous experience working on construction sites or within groundworks is preferred.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
