Job summary

The Resourcing Team is seeking a dedicated Groundworker in Scotland to support civil engineering operations and ensure efficient project delivery. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and safety.

You will assist with groundwork, trenching, and site preparation, liaise with Site Manager, supervise squads, and operate site plant equipment. A CSCS card and valid tickets are required, along with a full UK driving licence and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Commitment to Health & Safety compliance and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings and RAMS documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with groundwork, trenching, and site preparation.
• Liaise with Site Manager and clients as needed.
• Supervise squads and report defects or safety issues.
• Operate site plant equipment (telehandler, dumper, mini excavator).
