Job summary

Careys, a leading civil engineering contractor, invites applications for a Groundworker on a major Edinburgh project. You will carry out general groundworks, drainage and ducting, foundations, and concrete preparation, working from drawings to meet the required programme.

We're seeking candidates with a CSCS card and proven civil groundworks experience; CPCS/NPORS dumper qualification is desirable. The role offers long-term continuity and competitive rates on site in the Edinburgh area.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS Dumper qualification desirable.
• Proven experience in civil engineering groundworks.
• Experience with drainage and ducting works.

Careys are recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, ducting, foundations and concrete preparation works.
• Operate forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements and safety procedures.
• Assist with earthworks, excavation support and the installation of underground services.
• Work from drawings and instructions to complete works to the required specification and programme.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping while supporting the delivery of major civil engineering works.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
