Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Groundworker for projects across Gloucester and Cheltenham on a permanent basis. Salary is £35,360 per annum with a company van, fuel card, and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, paid bi-weekly.

DBS checks will be carried out for successful candidates who meet the requirements, including full UK driving licence holders. Work involves visiting multiple properties and logging progress on a tablet.

Qualifications

• Groundwork experience required for external construction tasks.
• Experience working on social housing projects preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required; DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out disrepair works on social housing properties.
• Concrete and brick repairs; excavations and path replacements.
• Lift and relay patio slabs; install new paths and brickwork as needed.
• Work across multiple properties with reporting to a supervisor.
• Maintain safety and log progress using a tablet; travel in the work van.
• Provide courteous customer service at sites.

Groundworker – Gloucester and Cheltenham

Experienced Groundworker required in Gloucester and Cheltenham areasto work with a busy and reputable contractor on a new reactive maintenance contract on social housing properties in the Gloucester and Cheltenham areas.

This is a really exciting permanent opportunity with a salary of £35,360 per annum plus a van, fuel card,20 days holiday bank holidaysand a pay dayevery 2 weeks.

GroundworkerDay to Day:

• Disrepair works on social housing properties
• Concrete and brick repairs
• Excavating and replacement of concrete paths
• Lift and relay patios slabs
• Installing new paths and associated brick and block repairs
• Work will be varied property to property
• Reporting on progress to a supervisor
• Working efficiently and safely
• Using a tablet to log progress on jobs
• Travelling in the work van to various properties
• Dealing with customers and making them feel at ease
