Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for experienced groundworkers for a large commercial scheme in Exeter, Devon. The role offers an hourly rate and regular daytime hours on a major project.

Join a commercial construction site in Exeter with PPE and tools provided. A Blue CSCS card or CPCS/NPORS tickets are preferred, with potential for long-term work beyond the first phase.

Qualifications

• Proven groundwork's experience within the construction industry.
• Blue CSCS card (preferred) or plant tickets (CPCS/NPORS)
• Reliable, consistent, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches, foundations and drainage work.
• Report to site manager.
• Work independently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear full PPE.

Key Duties

• Ability to work in the ground; digging trenches, foundations and drainage work.


• Report to site manager


• Work independently


• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.


• Follow health and safety procedures and wear full PPE.

Requirements

• Proven groundwork's experience within the construction industry.


• Blue cscs card (preferred) or plant tickets (cpcs/npors)


• Reliable, consistent, and strong work ethic.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate: £22/25 per hour (CIS available depending on tickets)


• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm


• PPE and tools provided at site


• Possible long term work available after first phase is complete
