Job summary

FLANAGAN LABOUR HIRE LTD is currently sourcing Groundworkers for a civils project between Bridgwater and Minehead. This role involves leading groundworks, kerbing, edging, drainage and foundations with a hands-on approach.

Candidates must have site experience, a valid CPCS Groundworker ticket (including dumper and roller) and a full UK driving licence. The project runs for approximately four months with daily pay of £230.04

Qualifications

• Experience on civil site groundwork and finishing to a high standard.
• Must hold valid CPCS Groundworker tickets including dumper and roller.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work from plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide hands-on support for kerbing, edging, drainage and foundations.
• Oversee concreting and finishing on site.
• Interpret plans and work to specifications with minimal supervision.
• Work as part of a small team to deliver quality civils work.

Do you have extensive groundwork / civils experience?

Are you a hands on Operator who can work from plans to complete slabbing, foundations kerbing projects?

Our client is a privately owned, contractor who deliver quality civil engineering projects, predominantly in the civils and enabling space.

We are currently recruiting for experienced groundworkers for a project in between Bridgwater and Minehead.

About the role:

The work consists of all aspects of groundworks and will require you to take the lead and provide hands on support for:

• Kerbing
• Edging
• Drainage
• Foundation laying
• Concreting and finishing

About you:

Due to the nature of this work, suitable candidates must have previous experience of working on sites and hold a valid CPCS card and Groundworker tickets including dumper and roller tickets.

Other skills and attributes required:

• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team
• Be able to work from plans
• The ability to complete projects to a high standard
• Good communications skills
