Job summary

Urban Planters is seeking an Exterior Maintenance Technician to service our clients on site, primarily in Chester and surrounding areas. You will perform grass cutting, hedging, weed control, and various horticultural tasks while using powered and non-powered equipment.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a friendly team, complete digital records on a smartphone app, liaise with customers, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK drivers licence is required.
• Garden maintenance experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and strimming.
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting.
• Weed maintenance.
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment.
• Complete all digital records required through a smartphone app.
• Liaising with customers.
• Autumn clearing.
• Spring preparation.
• Mowing.
• Heavy lifting will be required.

Position: Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location:Chester into Shropshire

Contract: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary £26,700 per annum (40hr Week)

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing exterior customer base.
