Here’s the facts about the role:

As grounds maintenance team leader,you’ll play an important part in deliveringexcellent customer and community services. You’ll lead, motivate and delegate to the grounds maintenance operatives so they can assist and support you in carrying out grounds maintenance works.You’ll plan and organise the tools and equipment required for work to be carried out. You’ll also follow standard work routines and tasks on site, with scope to make adjustments in the case of unplanned events.

As the grounds maintenance team leader you'll be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the grounds maintenance work on your sites. We’ll expect you to meet your set targets and support your supervisor to ensure an excellent, value for money service is delivered for our customers.

You’ll also have a full current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) and trailer licence. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
