Grounds Maintenance Team Leader - Guildford

Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week

Who are you?

• Ideally qualified in horticulture with at least 3 years of experience.
• A confident individual with strong people management skills.
• Adaptable with a strong work ethic and flexible working techniques.
• Experienced with a variety of small engine machinery.
• Good IT skills.
• Full, clean driving license preferred.
• PA1 & PA6 certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of relevant industry health and safety legislation.
• Reliable, conscientious, and able to work independently.

Role Overview

• Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering scheduled maintenance.
• Manage on-site responsibilities, including timekeeping, productivity, dealing with the public, visitors, and deliveries.
• Lead by example, motivate the team, and maintain discipline.
• Operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely, ensuring routine checks and proper documentation.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Supervisor.
