Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for our corporate site at Twycross CV9 3QN. This full-time role covers outdoor maintenance and seasonal duties to keep grounds tidy and safe.

You will perform grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting and water feature upkeep, with safe operation of equipment and compliance with health and safety standards. The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £13.45 per hour, plus Sodexo benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping with knowledge of equipment.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather; full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general grounds maintenance including grass cutting, hedges, pruning.
• Maintain landscaped areas, ponds, water features and hanging baskets.
• Seasonal duties: leaf clearance, snow clearance, gritting.
• Keep estate clean, tidy and safe; litter picking and waste management.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and follow RAMS and PPE.
• Provide general facilities support and assist site projects.
