Job summary

ITS Property Maintenance are recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our established property maintenance team in Farnborough. You will maintain communal external areas and domestic grounds to a high standard while driving the company van.

This is a practical, hands-on role requiring physically fit individuals with experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, a full UK driving licence, and reliability. 40-hour week, permanent contract, 8:00am–5:00pm, 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening or landscaping.
• Full UK driving licence with max 6 points.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors year‑round.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and customer service skills.
• Able to operate grounds maintenance machinery.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and general lawn maintenance.
• Hedge and shrub cutting.
• Border and garden maintenance.
• Leaf clearance and litter picking.
• General site and communal area clearance.
• Garden and waste clearance work.
• Soft landscaping and minor grounds works.
• Using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.
• Loading and unloading tools, equipment and green waste.
• Driving a company van between properties and sites.
• Reporting hazards, defects or other issues to management.
• Ensuring sites and external areas are left clean, tidy and safe.
