Job summary

APCOA Parking is seeking a Maintenance Operative at Luton Parkway Station. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) with a salary of £28,080 per year. A full manual driving licence is required, and duties include hedge trimming, grounds maintenance, and signage upkeep.

The successful candidate will join a team to keep sites clean and safe, travel between sites, and support operations with proactive maintenance and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and proactive attitude to work.
• Candidates must be 18+ and hold a full manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hedges through trimming.
• Strim grassed areas / Weeding / leaf clearance.
• Maintain and clean all signage including minor installations / minor works.
• Ensure the site is clean, tidy and free of litter.
• Maintaining the grounds and vegetation within the car parks and grounds quickly.
• Travelling to different sites ensuring they are clear and free of debris and vegetation.
