Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Worthing is seeking a Grounds Maintenance operative to perform grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking. You will operate hand tools and horticultural machinery, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site at GSK, Dominion Way, Worthing, West Sussex.

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) with an hourly pay of £13.45. A full UK driving licence is preferred for roles involving company vehicles, and PAI/PA6 spraying licenses

Qualifications

• Good understanding of smartphone technology.
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus.
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking.
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
• Deliver winter services including gritting and snow clearance.
