IDVERDE LIMITED in Barnsley is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to help maintain multiple green spaces and sites during the busy summer period. You’ll carry out grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, and shrub/border maintenance, plus litter collection.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. DBS check is required; PA1/PA6 licenses are advantageous but not essential.

• Grounds maintenance experience preferred.

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Barnsley to support throughout the busy summer season. You will keep several green spaces and grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.

• Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is highly advantageous.
• A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check done prior to starting.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are preferred, but not essential.
• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
