Job summary

RG Setsquare in the Newbury, Reading and Oxford region is seeking an experienced grounds maintenance operative to join the team. The role is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, 08:00–16:00 with a 30-minute break, and duties include mowing, strimming and hedge cutting.

You will work both in a small team and alone, with a full UK driving license (6 points or less, no drink/drug bans). A company van and fuel card, uniform and tools are supplied from day one, with a temporary-to-permanent contract

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance experience or equivalent
• Full UK driving license with 6 or fewer points and no drink-related bans
• Ability to work alone and as part of a small team
• Mon-Fri, 08:00–16:00 with a 30-minute break

Responsibilities

• Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting and general grounds maintenance duties
• Operate across Newbury, Reading, Oxford and surrounding areas

I am currently working alongside an established grounds maintenance company who are excited for an experienced grounds maintenance operative to join their team based in the Newbury, Reading and Oxford region. Please find the job specification below.

Job Specification:

• Grounds maintenance operative
• Lone working
• Full UK driving license required
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am until 16:00pm inc one half hour break per day.
• Duties include: Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting etc
• Available to start ASAP
• Company van and fuel card supplied from day one.
• Working within a team of two and lone working.
• Uniform supplied
• All tools supplied.
• Driving license must have 6 or less points with no previous bans for drink or drunk related offences.
• Working alongside a well-established grounds maintenance company
• Temporary to permanent basis
• 14.85 per hour
• Great opportunity.
• Covering Newbury, Reading, Oxford and surrounding areas.
• Once made permanent if you would like extra qualifications such as NVQ's / tickets then they are happy to en roll you on the courses.
• Permanent position at the end of the thirteen weeks.
