Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative for sites across Coventry and Warwickshire. Based in Coventry, the role pays £14.00 per hour and involves grass cutting, hedging, landscaping and general site upkeep.

You will operate mowing and powered equipment, travel between sites, and follow health and safety procedures. A PA1/PA6, full UK driving licence, and at least two years' grounds maintenance experience are essential.

Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team based in Coventry, covering sites across Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.

The role involves maintaining high standards across residential estates and commercial business parks, completing a variety of grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, landscaping and general site upkeep. You will be required to safely operate machinery and equipment, support the wider team, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within grounds maintenance and be confident working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will need to be reliable, organised, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have good communication skills when working across client sites.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Occasional flexibility may be required, including evenings, weekends, nights and bank holidays depending on business requirements.
