Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Evesham is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces tidy to a high standard within a stable, long-term role that offers structured hours and clear progression.

The 39-hour rota-based week includes a salary of £27,500 plus benefits such as a pension scheme, 24+ holidays with bank holidays, on-site parking, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticulture.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience using maintenance tools or machinery.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Relevant tickets (e.g. spraying or chainsaw) are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general grounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control).
• Support horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, and seeding.
• Maintain outdoor and recreational areas.
• Operate tools, equipment, and light machinery safely.
• Assist with general site upkeep and drainage tasks.
• Carry out basic painting and maintenance duties when required.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures.
