St Ives Town Council is seeking a practical Maintenance Officer (Grounds & Open Spaces) to maintain town and surrounding areas indoors and outdoors, performing duties across grounds maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning and safety checks.

The role requires a hands-on, reliable individual who can work across indoor and outdoor environments and contribute to a safe, well-maintained town for residents and visitors. 37 hours per week with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors as well as indoors.
• Duties include grounds maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep Council buildings and open areas tidy, clean and safe to use.
