St Ives Town Council is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality maintenance across council facilities and public spaces. You will manage maintenance programmes, supervise the maintenance team, and work with senior management, the Facilities Committee and councillors to advise on property matters and carry out repairs and planned works.

Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in your community? We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across our facilities and public spaces. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be responsible for ensuring our assets are safe, well maintained, and fit for purpose for residents and visitors.

As a key member of our management team, you will lead and support operational staff, manage maintenance programmes, and help shape the future development of our services. The postholder is responsible for managing a programme of work, to ensure that the Council’s land and property assets are in good repair, fit for purpose and are managed effectively and efficiently. This role involves the day to day management of maintenance team and working closely with the senior management team, the Facilities Committee and councillors to provide advice on property related matters and carry out responsive repairs, alongside a programme of planned maintenance and small works.
