Job summary

BDS are recruiting for an experienced Grounds person to provide estate maintenance in the Bolton area. The role involves lawn mowing, border management, hedge cutting, planting and pruning, strimming, litter picking, bin store management and bulk waste removal when necessary. Working hours are 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or estate care preferred.
• Ability to perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a good safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns and care for borders to maintain neat and healthy appearance.
• Cut hedges and prune shrubs as required to maintain shape and health.
• Plant and prune as directed, and manage strimming and litter picking.
• Assist with bin store management and bulk waste removal when necessary.
• Provide friendly customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has good customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers and colleagues, and you would be working both within a team and on your own.

Working hours is 30 hour per week Monday to Friday

Pay rate starts from £14.63 per hour
