Job summary

idverde is seeking Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our Burton team on the Trent and Dove Contract. You will be responsible for grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, and general landscaping duties across multiple local sites.

We offer a fixed-term contract until end of October, 7:00-16:30, Monday to Friday, with 12.71 per hour. PA1/PA6 licences are a bonus, and full PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities

• Perform grass cutting using ride-on and pedestrian mowers.
• Carry out strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance.
• Litter picking and general grounds maintenance tasks.
• Work outdoors on various sites in Burton on a daily basis.

About the role

We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Burton working on the Trent and Dove Contract. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
