Job summary

Arcadis invites motivated students for a 10-12 week internship or a 12-month placement across environmental and planning projects. You will join the Ground Investigation contracting discipline, work with consultants, and deliver components of client projects while developing technical expertise.

From day one you will be on site, shadowing engineers, and gradually supervise investigations, with training in soil and rock logging and safety conducted by senior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject with study focus on earth/geo/environmental topics.
• Developed communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site-based ground investigations to collect data.
• Shadow experienced engineers on site and contribute to teams.
• Produce reports and health and safety documentation.
• Learn safety qualifications with support from line manager.
