Job summary

Arcadis in Warrington offers a 10-12 week internship or 12-month placement as part of our GROW programme. You will gain hands-on experience in environmental and planning projects, working with consultants and clients to develop technical skills and professional judgment.

As a Ground Investigation focused role, you will shadow engineers on site, assist with data collection, reports, and safety documentation, and receive structured training to build your expertise while supporting project delivery.

Qualifications

• You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home (where possible we embrace virtual working).
• Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
• Comfortable with site based working when required for projects.

Responsibilities

• Ground Investigation: undertake site-based investigations to collect data on ground conditions for development schemes.
• Shadow engineers on site and assist in delivering high-quality work; develop safety and field skills.
• Produce reports, Health and Safety documentation, and participate in project planning and commercial aspects.
