Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting a Ground Floor Team Member for our Glasgow City Centre South Premier Inn. You’ll welcome guests, check in, serve meals and help guests have a smooth stay. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with a fixed-term contract until 07/01/2027. Up to £13.06 per hour for 15 guaranteed hours weekly.

No hotel experience is required; friendly, helpful people who enjoy working with guests will be trained. Join us to be part of a busy, supportive team across Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• Friendly, helpful attitude and a positive approach to guest service.
• Able to stay calm and professional when busy or under pressure.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or dinner, including bar work and serving drinks.
• Answer questions and help solve problems for guests.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Support teammates during busy periods and assist where needed.
• Ensure guests feel looked after from arrival to departure.
