Premier Inn in Glasgow is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member at the Pacific Quay (SECC) location. You’ll warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in, and help with breakfast or dinner service while contributing to a smooth guest experience throughout their stay.

Shifts are varied, with evenings and weekends included. No two days are the same, and you’ll be supported by the team and trained to handle guest needs, ensuring everyone feels welcome from arrival to departure.

Ground Floor Team Member – Glasgow Pacific Quay (SECC) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed-term contract until 28/01/2027 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 15 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Glasgow Pacific Quay (SECC) Premier Inn - Pacific Quay, Glasgow, G51 1DA

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
