Job summary

Next Step Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and grow two care sites in Coventry and Northampton. You will protect quality and compliance while building a new territory from the ground up, including stepping into care visits when needed.

The role reports into senior leadership with autonomy across two sites and a strong focus on business development and client retention. Travel between Coventry and Northampton is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager with domiciliary care or supported living and CQC background.
• Strong operational track record including rotas, safeguarding and QA.
• Commercial awareness with care-business development experience.
• Willing to travel regularly between Coventry and Northampton.
• Hands-on approach, including delivering care visits when needed.
• Builder's mindset to create new territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across Coventry and Northampton.
• Act as a hands-on leader in Northampton as the newer, growing territory.
• Deliver care visits personally when required, especially in Northampton.
• Ensure consistent quality, compliance and standards across both locations.
• Support business development and client retention with a commercial mindset.
• Line-manage local teams and build operational structure as Northampton scales.
