Arup is offering an Industrial Placement in Ground Engineering based in Leeds. You will explore ground conditions, contribute to modeling and design, and represent Arup on site during investigations and earthworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ground/Geotechnical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• No specific requirement for prior skills or experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess site constraints, geological hazards and ground conditions to shape projects at early stages.
• Analyze ground investigation data to derive ground models and parameters for use in design.
• Represent Arup on site during ground investigations, earthworks and other construction activities.
• Deliver Total Design by working with other disciplines to provide integrated project solutions.
• Written and verbal communication during all project stages from optioneering to detailed design.
