Job summary

Stowe School invites applications for a Groom to join our Equestrian Centre team on a Sunday on a zero hours contract basis. The role focuses on the daily care of our horses and supporting the smooth running of the Centre to maintain high standards for horses and pupils.

You will be passionate about horse welfare, hardworking and reliable, able to work outdoors in all weathers. The role suits someone who enjoys working with a small, supportive team and values consistent, high-quality horse care.

Qualifications

• Horse welfare experience (preferred).
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of horses at the Equestrian Centre.
• Support the smooth running of the Centre for pupils and horses.
• Assist with centre maintenance and horse welfare standards.

Job description

Hours: Sunday working with occassional holiday cover

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Stowe School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Groom to join our Equestrian Centre team on a Sunday on a zero hours contract basis. Working with an established Equestrian Team, you will play a key role in the daily care of our horses and the smooth running of the Centre — helping us maintain a centre of excellence for both horses and pupils.

You’ll have a passion for horse welfare, be hardworking, reliable and happy to work outdoors in all weathers. You’ll enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team and take pride in maintaining high standards of care.

Days of work: Sunday but we may require cover in times of staff holiday periods so a flexible approach is appreciated.
