Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a friendly, reliable manner. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, perform vehicle checks, and follow planned routes to ensure orders reach customers on time in good condition.

Role may include some store duties when not delivering. Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid UK/EU licence for at least 12 months with <=6 points, and have Right to Work in the UK. Training and safety checks are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Able to lift/move containers weighing up to 15kg
• Safe driving and defensive driving awareness

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers in a timely, friendly and helpful manner
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure deliveries are on time and in good condition
• Perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness and order integrity
• Follow planned routes while adapting to traffic, weather and road conditions
• Inform customers of delays and handle queries professionally
• Assist in-store tasks when not out delivering
