Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring online orders to customers’ doors with energy, warmth and care. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, keep deliveries on time and ensure everything arrives in great condition.

You’ll be part of a store team, handle road safety checks, and assist in-store when needed. We welcome friendly, reliable colleagues who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Friendly and welcoming with enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Full UK/EU driving licence, 12 months minimum with up to 6 points.
• Over 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a timely, friendly manner.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure it is roadworthy and clean.
• Keep customers informed of delays and handle queries on the go.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying conditions.
• Assist in-store when required and support the wider team.
