Job summary

You will develop tools using Python and data lake technologies, with dashboards and simulations to support grid development and interconnection insights across the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• Strong background in energy systems and power grid modeling.
• Experience with techno-economic and power flow modeling.
• Familiarity with non-wire solutions and grid stability issues.

Responsibilities

• Map, analyze and model grids to inform capex strategy.
• Perform techno-economic and power flow modeling to optimize resource mix.
• Assess grid quality issues and design non-wire solutions.
• Support grid development plans and Integrated Resource Plans.
• Analyze grid constraints for interconnection queues.
• Develop data-driven tools using Python and data lake technologies.
