Job summary

Clear Wave Search Ltd is seeking an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join a leading renewable energy developer. This role focuses on grid connections and project development, contributing to innovative grid stability projects across the UK and Ireland.

Located in Cardiff, the position supports hybrid and remote working. The ideal candidate will possess a BEng or MEng in Electrical Power Engineering and apply their knowledge using tools such as PSCAD and PowerFactory.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience through contracting, consulting, or industry placements.
• Comfortable with programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python, Octave).
• Passionate about helping shape low-carbon electricity networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies like load flow and short circuit analysis.
• Design grid connections, including electrical system plans.
• Get involved during construction – supporting development and procurement.
