Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Community Engagement Lead to drive Greenwich INT engagement, ensuring local voices influence neighbourhood health services. The post collaborates with INT partners, VCSEs, faith groups and local authorities to build trusted relationships across Greenwich.

The role is based at 4 Emerton Close, Bexleyheath, with travel across Greenwich and occasional evenings/weekends for community events to capture diverse perspectives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience planning and delivering community engagement with diverse communities.
• Experience of partnership working with VCSE, faith, local authority or health organisations.
• Facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse feedback and write clear reports with recommendations.
• Strong commitment to equality, inclusion and anti-racist practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of community engagement for the Greenwich INT programme.
• Identify seldom-heard communities and engage in line with PCREF/Core20PLUS5.
• Record, analyse and report engagement feedback with service and demographic data.
• Work with services and partners to agree actions in response to feedback and track progress.
• Prepare papers, briefs and progress reports for the INT programme and Trust committees.
• Keep community engagement register and dashboard up to date for Greenwich activity.
• Follow Trust policies on involvement payments, consent, confidentiality and safeguarding.
