Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to drive the Greenwich INT programme. You will establish trusted relationships with local communities, voluntary and faith organisations, and INT partners to ensure voices from deprived communities shape neighbourhood service planning.

The role is 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours/week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment, based at Bexleyheath with travel across Greenwich and some evenings/weekends. Apply by the stated deadline.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience of planning and delivering community engagement with diverse communities.
• Experience of partnership working with VCSE, faith, local authority or health organisations.
• Confident facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse feedback and write clear reports with recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of community engagement for the Greenwich INT programme.
• Identify and engage seldom-heard communities, in line with PCREF and Core20PLUS5.
• Record, analyse and report on engagement feedback alongside service and demographic data.
• Work with services and partners to agree actions in response to community feedback and follow up on progress.
• Prepare papers, briefings and progress reports for the INT programme and Trust committees.
• Keep the Trust’s community engagement register and dashboard up to date for Greenwich activity.
• Follow Trust policies on involvement payments, consent, confidentiality and safeguarding.
