Job summary

The Celtic Collection in Newport, UK, is seeking a Greenkeeper to join the Estates team at the Celtic Manor Resort. You will maintain greens, tees, bunkers, approaches and rough areas to high standards across our championship golf courses.

We expect NVQ Level 2/3 in Greenkeeping (or equivalent) and prior golf course maintenance experience. A self-motivated and collaborative approach, plus a commitment to safety, are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Greenkeeping (or equivalent).
• Previous greenkeeping or golf course maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Spraying and chainsaw certificates are desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to high standards of course presentation and safety.
• Must be aged 18 or over due to machinery and chemical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain greens, tees, bunkers, approaches and rough areas to exceptional standards.
• Operate and maintain specialist grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in the delivery of golf course maintenance and development programmes.
• Support the operational needs of the golf team and Estates Department.
• Ensure all equipment, stock and working areas are maintained, clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Attend team briefings and report faults, hazards or customer concerns promptly.

OVERVIEW -

Workingacross our championship golf courses, you will help ensure that all playingsurfaces and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest possiblestandard.
