Job summary

The Celtic Collection in Newport, UK is seeking a Retail Supervisor – Golf to lead the Golf Retail team at Celtic Manor Resort. You will oversee day-to-day operations, stock control, and customer service to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences in a premium golf environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months in golf retail, experience with AA/59 Club standards, strong leadership skills and a track record of motivating teams while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a golf retail environment.
• Experience working to defined operating standards such as AA or 59 Club.
• Proven ability to induct, train, develop and inspire a team.
• Experience working with high-quality brands.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Resolve all internal/external customer complaints escalated from team members.
• Ensure the Department achieves a minimum score of 85% in audited AA Visits.
• Maintain stock inventory in the pro shops.
• Prepare and operate sale markdown periods with clearly labeled, merchandised and replenished stock.
• Manage the Golf Concept system to check-in bookings and charge no-shows to maximise revenue.

RATE OFPAY - £12.98 per hour, plus excellent benefits

HOURS –40 hours per week, over 5 days
