Job summary

Erewash Borough Council is seeking a Green Space and Street Scene Supervisor to join Operational Services in the Place Directorate. This hands-on leadership role will oversee delivery of high-quality services across parks, play areas and public spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean and welcoming for all.

You will supervise teams across Victoria Park, West Park and Pewit Coronation Meadows, manage grounds maintenance, play area inspections, street cleansing and event support, while ensuring

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality services across parks, play areas and public spaces.
• Supervise teams across Victoria Park, West Park and Pewit Coronation Meadows.
• Manage grounds maintenance, play area inspections, sports pitch upkeep, landscaping and street cleansing.
• Respond to issues such as fly-tipping, vandalism and safety hazards with practical solutions.
• Support borough-wide events with traffic management and site preparation.
• Contribute to play area design and street scene enhancements.
• Monitor contractor performance and inspection schedules.
