Job summary

England Athletics is looking for a part-time Grants Officer to join the Operations team. The role covers administration, coordination and delivery of grant programmes that benefit athletics and running communities, reporting to the Head of Finance.

It is a 21 hours per week post with home working and occasional travel. Reporting to Finance, you’ll manage grants, maintain records, ensure governance and compliance, and help measure impact with dashboards and stories.

Qualifications

• Experience administering grant schemes or funding programmes.
• Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, communication and project management skills.
• Experience working in not-for-profit environment.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with teams.
• Understanding governance, audit and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and delivery of designated grant programmes, coordinating application, assessment, moderation and award processes.
• Manage grant applications, reporting, evaluation and compliance tracking.
• Maintain a central register of grant awards, applications, reporting deadlines and funding commitments.
• Support preparation of reports for the Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committees and monitor compliance with grant terms.
• Coordinate impact measurement and reporting, develop dashboards and gather stories showing impact of grants.
• Assist with budget tracking, financial administration and reporting of funding activity.
• Monitor funding opportunities and support departments in future applications and partnerships.
