Job summary

River Learning Trust is seeking a fundraising officer to secure grants and support a freelance fundraising consultant across its school network. The role includes managing the Beacon CRM database, training users, and driving fundraising initiatives to boost educational priorities.

You will work flexibly in term time, report to the CFO, and develop relationships with grant funders and local stakeholders, building philanthropy across the RLT community.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a fundraising role.
• Experience with a CRM database and fundraising software.
• Writes clear, engaging funding applications and communications.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply for funding from grant-making bodies.
• Support fundraising consultant in donor and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage the Beacon CRM for fundraising activities.
• Develop and support the Beacon user base across the school network.
• Manage resources, administration and communications across the network.
• Help build a culture of philanthropy across the RLT community.
• Drive medium- to long-term fundraising projects to increase philanthropic income.
• Report to the Trust CFO.
