Job summary

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is recruiting a Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive to build and steward community supporters while collaborating with the team on corporate fundraising initiatives.

The role focuses on growing the community fundraising programme, managing regional accounts, and identifying funding opportunities. You will liaise with potential supporters and prepare compelling fundraising applications.

Qualifications

• People-oriented and outgoing.
• Motivating, empathetic and persuasive communicator.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and socially-focused.
• Knowledge of the principles of customer care and charity law as it applies to fundraising.
• Ability to work at a faster-than-average pace on multiple priorities.
• Confident use of MS Office and experience with a CRM database.
• Experience of working for a fundraising charity is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and steward supporters, focusing on community organisations and individual fundraisers.
• Lead the community fundraising programme and support corporate fundraising events.
• Provide account management to regional businesses.
• Identify new funding opportunities and build the fundraising pipeline.
• Attend meetings with potential supporters and complete written applications.
