Job summary

Charles Jackson & Co Ltd in Long Buckby is seeking a proactive coordinator to support our trading team in coordinating the movement of grain and other raw materials. You will liaise with farmers, suppliers, customers and hauliers, ensuring plans and information are communicated clearly across the business.

The role is office-based with training provided; you will develop knowledge of grain trading processes and grow your responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
• Experience in agriculture is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with farmers, suppliers, customers on a daily basis.
• Support the Trading Director in executing trading and logistics plans.
• Coordinate collections and deliveries with hauliers and internal haulage.
• Communicate plans and changes clearly across the business.
• Record and maintain information using Excel and internal systems.
• Assist with general administration and related activities.
• Develop understanding of the grain trading process and take on responsibilities over time.
