Job summary

Academics is seeking a Well-being Support Assistant in Chelmsford to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with SEND/SEMH needs. This is an ASAP start, full-time role (term-time only) in a friendly, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is a Psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health or related fields, working with an experienced inclusion team and SLT. Training and CPD will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Psychology or related field.
• Strong communication skills and flexible attitude.
• Interest in education, therapy or mental health fields.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with inclusion staff, teachers and SLT.
• Differentiate tasks for individual students as needed.
• Work with small groups or individuals on targeted tasks.
• Access high-quality CPD as provided.
