Summerhill Vets is a group of veterinary practices located in Wales. You will be based at our Summerhill Vets in Newport. Newport is close to the M4, which provides access to cities across the UK and has great train links with London only 90 minutes away. Cardiff Airport is only 45 minutes away. Newport is close to the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

We have a compassionate and supportive team of 5 Vets and 12 Nurses as well as an excellent support and administrative team. Within our team, we have certificate holders in Emergency and Critical Care and Feline Medicine.

Practice facilities include digital x-rays, dental x-rays, endoscope, ultrasound, K-laser, ECG, multiparameter machines, blood pressure and so much more. The practice is currently undergoing a refurbishment and extension for our growing business.

Step into a supportive start

40 hours per week over a 4 day week. You will be part of our Saturday rota working 1 in 5 Saturdays (included in hours.)

You will be supported by your dedicated GDP advisor with time off rota. You will have a full induction with all the team and will be supported with rota changes. You will have plenty of support in surgery and consults.
