Stantec’s 2027 Graduate Programme invites you to join as a Graduate Urban Drainage Modeller in Reading. You’ll work in a specialist wastewater network modelling team supporting UK and Ireland water companies, contributing from conception to delivery and helping improve water quality.

Work alongside senior modellers on hydraulic modelling, optioneering, and feasibility studies, with a focus on sustainable solutions and professional qualification routes (ICE/CIWEM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering, Geography (or water related subject) is required or preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Interest in water industry and professional development supported by ICE/CIWEM routes.

Responsabilités

• Support hydraulic modelling and model-building activities alongside senior modellers.
• Contribute to optioneering and feasibility design for water infrastructure challenges.
• Undertake integrated urban drainage modelling, resilience and security of supply studies.
• Assist surge analysis and water quality modelling activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable solutions.
• Develop technical skills through project work and mentoring.
