Job summary

Join Stantec in Bristol as part of the 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Urban Designer. You’ll join a team of 20 urban design professionals, working on a range of residential and mixed-use projects with senior mentors, collaborating with architects, landscape architects and planners from day one.

Develop skills across feasibility to masterplanning and design delivery, with opportunities to gain professional charterships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design is required or desirable.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp and MS Office is desirable.
• UK right to live and work without restriction is required.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of residential-led placemaking projects across the South West and wider UK.
• Assist with masterplans, vision documents and other design outputs.
• Contribute to Design and Access Statements and planning documentation.
• Work with colleagues to develop design codes and place-based guidance.
• Support Senior/Associate designers across project stages and scales.
