Job summary

Stantec is recruiting for a 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme in Bristol or Taunton as a Graduate Major Infrastructure Planner. You will develop town planning expertise within a multidisciplinary team, supporting NSIPs and local projects, coordinating stakeholders and advancing planning applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Town Planning or Geography.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholder engagement and planning applications.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planning research and site selection appraisals to support project development.
• Coordination of stakeholder engagement and preparing information.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Supporting community engagement and stakeholder consultation activities.
• Contributing to the promotion of local plans and planning policy responses.
• Working on a diverse range of major infrastructure projects.
