Job summary

WSP is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to join our Transport & Mobility teams across the UK and Ireland. You will help develop sustainable transport solutions, work on projects that improve how people move, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical outcomes.

The two-year Graduate Development Programme offers structured learning, mentoring and hands-on project experience, with a pathway to Chartership as you grow in your career within our global firm.

Qualifications

• You will be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.
• You will have an interest in transport planning, mobility, modelling, sustainable transport or transport strategy.
• You will be curious, collaborative and motivated to solve challenges that improve how people move through communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable transport solutions for towns, cities and regions.
• Support strategies and projects delivering social, environmental and economic outcomes.
• Collaborate with transport planners, engineers and designers to create practical solutions.
• Build skills in data analysis, transport modelling and stakeholder engagement.
